Privacy Policy — Memento Backup

Memento Backup is a Shopify app developed by Websiteticino to create backups/snapshots of merchant store data.

Data we process

• Store data required to run backups (products, content, metadata, and other resources selected by the merchant).
• Offline OAuth token used to access the installed store’s Shopify APIs.
• Technical logs related to backup/restore execution.

Purpose

• Run backup and snapshot jobs (on demand or scheduled).
• Enable controlled restore operations and log inspection.
• Provide service reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

Storage and isolation

Data is isolated per shop (multi-tenant isolation) in separate storage areas and is never shared across merchants. Backups are retained according to configured retention settings.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to deliver the service.

Shopify privacy requests

Memento Backup supports Shopify privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact) and handles requests in accordance with applicable law.
